Flowers by KelleB | Jenna & Matt’s Wildflower Wedding 5.11.13
I met with the bride after being referred by a dear college friend, Karen, and thanks to her, this fun union of bride and florist came about! Jenna is a laid back, casual kind of lady and when planning her wedding, that attitude didn’t change. She has a unique style that is naturally classic and effortless and we did our best to translate it to the wedding flowers. Her only requirements were that the flowers looked like I’d gathered them from a field of wildflowers the morning of here wedding… in West Texas… hard but not impossible!
She got married at the gorgeous Fulford Barn in Brownfield, TX and the place really did make the event the rustic look Jenna wanted to capture. Her mother had lots of rusty gold items (gnarled tree roots, old watering cans, rusted goodness…) that they used all about and we used mason jars for vases with accents of burlap to add to the rustic look.
And although rain did threaten most of the day, everything went off without a hitch and the adorable couple got married. I am happy to say, the happy couple just welcomed their first baby into this world, just a few weeks ago! Baby Atticus makes three in this happy little family tree and I am happy to say I was a part of their wedding!
