Kehley's Classic Winter Wedding

Kehley’s Classic Winter Wedding

I met the lovely Miss Kehley thanks to one of my other brides, Lindsey Mills Kennedy, whose wedding I did this fall.  Kehley wanted a classic, romantic,  yet modern wedding and although she wasn’t certain exactly what flowers she wanted, she knew the exact feel.

During one of our meetings she shared with me her bridal portrait photos and her classic statuesque beauty was only heightened by her gorgeous dress and beautiful bird cage veil.  She shared with me that her grandmother had been a model and you can definitely tell that looks run in this family!  On the day of her wedding she was a true vision of classic elegance.  I like to think my flowers only added to the affect.  Happy wedded bliss to Kehley and Jarred!

Kehley was actually open to using the often hated baby’s breath for her bridal party flowers.  Thanks to her bravery, we proved that baby’s breath isn’t just for baby showers!
flower girl hair comb
The flower girl had luxuriously THICK hair so we opted for a comb for more stability.  Again the baby’s breath gave a dreamy and fresh quality to the details of the wedding day.
The use of guinea feathers, pepper berries and lily grass gave a more manly vibe to the baby’s breath!
I love this boutonniere!  A mix of safari sunset, pepper berry, & lily grass, made this one of my favorite groom’s boutonnieres!

the bride’s bouquet
For Kehley’s bridal portrait bouquet, she let me do my own thing… I’d been dying to use lotus pods so I went for it and Kehley liked them so much she wanted them in the bridesmaids bouquets too!  To help  make them a bit more elegant I added  pearl accents!
the altar arrangements with the gorgeous Broadway Church of Christ architecture as a back drop
These large arrangements had everything AND the kitchen sink in them, but they were definitely a show stopper.  I fell in love with the huge copper vases and tried to buy them from Kehley’s friend who owned them to NO avail.  She had a death grip on them and I can’t say that I blame her in the least!  They are GORGEOUS!

Keyley and Jarred, may God blesses your happy union and may you enjoy your wedded bliss for years to come! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!

A special thanks goes out to my friend, Alisa from Alisa Joy Photography for helping me out with the bouquet and  alter arrangement pictures!  She came out in the cold, suffering from a horrible winter cold, at the last second to help me out!  I knew I couldn’t do them justice and she graciously made my work shine!  Thanks friend!
